No tours of the former Seneca Army Depot to view the white deer and military artifacts have been scheduled for 2011. We are hoping to receive permission to conduct more tours in the future, but any tours are contingent on approval from the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency.

The annual hunt at the Seneca Army Depot is administered by the US Army. Seneca White Deer is not involved. For more information contact Steve Absolom at stephen.m.absolom@us.army.mil

On Wednesday, April 6, Seneca White Deer, Inc. (SWD) will provide an Info Day at Finger Lakes Community College for students, faculty and visitors to the campus. The event takes place in the Main Building of the Canandaigua Campus from 8 AM to 4 PM, on the second floor, outside the Student Life Office. Aimee Bartelt, the Seneca White Deer intern who organized the event, will staff the information station and raffle an Official Seneca White Deer T-shirt. Our exhibit will provide information about the world’s largest herd of white, white-tailed deer and the former Seneca Army Depot where they live, as well as white deer photographs and merchandise for sale.
